Held in high esteem by his peers in the world of culinary arts, Chef Tsang Chiu King is the Culinary Director at Ming Court, Wanchai, and has been instrumental in shaping the restaurant’s identity since its inception. Known for integrating traditional Cantonese techniques with modern creativity, he crafts dishes that exemplify both authenticity and innovation.
During a remarkable career spanning half a century, Chef Tsang has brought his redoubtable talent to prestigious kitchens around the globe. These diverse experiences have deepened his appreciation of international dining culture, empowering him to dip artfully into varied cuisines while remaining true to the core principles of Cantonese cooking.
Chef Tsang joined the Langham Hospitality Group in 2004, and his strong leadership skills have proved pivotal in the rise of its acclaimed establishments. While serving as Executive Chef of Ming Court, Langham Place, Mongkok, he first secured a MICHELIN star in 2009, then earned two stars for the next 4 years. It was also under his watch that T’ang Court at The Langham, Shanghai, Xintiandi received its debut three MICHELIN stars in 2015.
